StoreHero Inc. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; CEO: Junichi Kurose) will launch a startup and new business support service starting July 2020, offering store setup, sales, and fulfillment in a single one-stop package in collaboration with a logistics partner.

Background to the Launch of the Startup & New Business Support Service

Driven in part by the impact of COVID-19, a growing number of businesses are newly entering the online commerce space.

At StoreHero, we have been providing growth hack consulting (Commerce Hack) and sales outsourcing services focused exclusively on Shopify, targeting startups and new business divisions of large enterprises. Through this work, we increasingly found that logistics was becoming a bottleneck for our clients.

For example, there were cases where a sudden surge in orders overwhelmed the logistics operation, resulting in missed sales opportunities, or where packaging of novelty items and message cards as part of CRM campaigns was delayed.

In response, StoreHero has partnered with a logistics company to offer a fully integrated service that covers not only store setup and sales, but also fulfillment.

This allows StoreHero to better leverage its expertise in sales operations. At the same time, online commerce businesses can now entrust everything from store setup to fulfillment to StoreHero in one place, freeing them to focus on product development.

Currently, we handle a wide range of product categories on the sales side, including apparel, food, beverages, accessories, bags, children's goods, and pharmaceuticals. Through our logistics partnership, we are now also able to support fulfillment for cosmetics and health foods, among others.

Going forward, we plan to deepen our partnerships with logistics providers and expand the range of product categories we can handle.
