The personal data we collect in this service is as follows, depending on the method of collection.

(1) Information provided by customers

The information we ask customers to provide in order to use the Service or through the use of the Service is as follows

・Profile information such as username, name, email address, affiliation, position, etc.

・Information entered or transmitted by customers through input forms or other methods determined by the Company

In addition, we may collect the following personal information from applicants during our recruitment activities.

・Name, age, address, date of birth, telephone number, e-mail address, educational background, work history, qualifications held, current and desired annual income, and other information

・Any information contained in resumes, CVs, entry forms, or other documents provided by applicants to the Company for the purpose of applying for employment, regardless of format.

・Any and all forms of communication with the Company including, but not limited to, dialogue, correspondence, telephone calls, etc. This includes, but is not limited to, communications during interviews.

・Any and all information we obtain, such as background checks and reference checks, for the purpose of the employment selection

・History of application and participation in recruitment activities and results of selection for employment

・Information entered or transmitted by applicants through input forms or other methods determined by the Company

(2)Information we collect when customers use the Service

We may collect information about your access to the Service and how you use it. This includes the following information.

・Identifiers and other information pertaining to Shopify. This includes information about purchases and products.

・Information on server access logs

・Cookie, ADID, IDFA or other identifier

(3) Acquisition of Personal Related Information, “Personal Related Information” as defined in Article 2, Paragraph 7 of the Personal Information Protection Law.

We obtain personal information from third parties who possess personal information such as website usage history, action history, identifiers, and other information that is not personally identifiable information, by receiving such personal information and linking it to your personal information managed by us. We may use such information in accordance with the purposes of use described in below 2.

2. Purpose of Use

The specific purposes of the use of user information related to the provision of this service are as follows.

3. Third-party offers

Among personal data, the Company will not provide personal information, “personal information” as defined in Article 2, Paragraph 1 of the Act on the Protection of Personal Information and the same shall apply hereinafter, to a third party including those located outside of Japan without the prior consent of the customer. However, it may not apply to the following cases where there is a need to provide personal information to a third party (including those located outside of Japan.

(3)When it is especially necessary to improve public health or to promote the appropriate growth of children and it is difficult to obtain the customer’s consent

4. Use of Modules, etc. or Cookies Provided by Third Parties

We may use modules, etc. such as SDKs or cookies provided by third parties to improve the Service and for the other purposes of use described in 2 above. Information collected, recorded, and analyzed by the providers of such modules, etc. will be managed in accordance with the terms of use and privacy policy of such companies.

5. Security control measures

In accordance with the Personal Data Protection Law and the Policy, we will take necessary and appropriate measures to prevent leakage, loss, or damage of personal data handled by us and otherwise to ensure the security of personal data. We will take the following security control measures to ensure the safety of personal data.

・In order to prevent the loss, destruction, falsification, or leakage of personal information, we will take appropriate measures against unauthorized access, computer viruses, etc., and continuously improve our information security system.

・The company will establish a person responsible for the handling of personal information.

・The company will establish a system for reporting to the person in charge in the event that a violation of the Personal Information Protection Law or company regulations regarding the handling of personal information is detected.

・We will implement access controls to limit the scope of employees in charge and the databases of personal information they handle.

・We will implement, maintain, and continually improve our compliance program.

・We will make this policy known to all officers, employees, and related parties, and disclose it to the general public.

6. Disclosure of Personal Information

(1)The Company may receive notification of the purpose of the use or personal information including records of provision to third parties and the same shall apply hereinafter from customers in accordance with the provisions of the Act on the Protection of Personal Information, we will disclose such information to the customer without delay after confirming that the request is made by the customer himself/herself. If the personal information does not exist, the customer will be notified of this fact. However, this does not apply to cases in which we are not obligated to disclose the information under the Personal Information Protection Law or other laws and regulations. Please note that we charge a fee of 1,000 yen per case for notification of purpose of use and disclosure of personal information.

(2)If a customer requests the correction, addition, deletion, suspension of use, or suspension of provision to a third party of his/her personal information, hereinafter referred to as “correction of personal information, etc.”, in accordance with the provisions of the Personal Information Protection Law, the Company will conduct the necessary investigation without delay after confirming that the request is made by the customer himself/herself, and based on the results, correct the personal information and notify the customer thereof. However, this does not apply to cases in which we are not obligated to correct personal information under the Personal Information Protection Law or other laws and regulations. If we decide not to correct personal information, we will notify the customer to that effect.

8. Privacy Policy Modification Procedures

We may change the Policy from time to time as necessary. However, in the event that the Company modifies the Policy in a manner that requires the consent of the customer under the law, the modified Policy shall apply only to customers who have consented to the modification in the manner prescribed by the Company. In the event that the Company changes this Policy, the Company shall make known or notify customers of the effective date and content of the changed Policy by displaying the revised Policy on the Company’s website or by any other appropriate means.
